C S Direkt Events and Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. is the Data Fiduciary (data controller) responsible for personal data processed through this website. Our contact details are set out in Section 16.

This policy applies to personal data collected through csdirekt.com and its pages, enquiry and contact forms, career applications, event registrations, email and phone communication with us. It does not apply to third-party websites or platforms linked from our site, which are governed by their own policies.

Information you provide to us

• Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, organisation and designation
• Enquiry details: project brief, budget, timelines and any message you send us
• Career applications: CV/resume, work history, education, portfolio links, expected compensation and notice period
• Event registrations: participant details, billing information and transaction references

Information collected automatically

• Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system and device identifiers
• Usage data: pages viewed, time spent, referring pages and interactions
• Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 8

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health, biometric, financial account passwords or religious information. Please do not submit such information through our forms.

We process personal data only for clear, lawful purposes, namely:

• Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals, on the basis of your consent and our legitimate business use
• Recruitment, to assess applications and contact candidates, on the basis of your consent
• Event management, including confirmations, payment verification and attendee support, to perform the service you requested
• Website operation and security, including fraud prevention and troubleshooting, as a legitimate use
• Analytics and improvement, only where you have accepted analytics cookies
• Business communication about our work and future events, which you may opt out of at any time
• Legal compliance, where required by applicable law, court order or a government authority

Where we rely on consent, it is free, specific, informed and unambiguous. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us or, for cookies, through the cookie settings below. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it, but we may be unable to continue a service that depends on that data.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with:

• Data Processors who help us operate, such as hosting, email delivery, cloud storage, spreadsheet and analytics providers, bound by confidentiality and security obligations
• Payment gateways that process event payments directly
• Professional advisers such as auditors and legal counsel, where necessary
• Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities when required by law
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring, subject to this policy

Online payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways. We never store full card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials. We receive only a transaction reference and payment status.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We group them into the following categories:

• Strictly necessary: essential for security, navigation, login to restricted areas and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics: help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. Set only with your consent.
• Marketing: set by embedded media or social platforms to personalise content and measure campaigns. Set only with your consent.

On your first visit a banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential cookies or manage each category. Your choice is stored for future visits and can be changed at any time.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. As a guide: enquiries are kept for up to 3 years after last contact; unsuccessful job applications for up to 12 months; event and payment records for the period required under tax and accounting laws. Data is then securely deleted or anonymised.

We apply reasonable security practices, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission, access controls limited to authorised staff, secure cloud infrastructure and regular review of our safeguards. No system is completely secure, but in the event of a personal data breach we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required by law.

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where this happens, we ensure the transfer is permitted under Indian law and that appropriate safeguards protect your data.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
• Request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of data that is no longer needed
• Withdraw consent and opt out of communications
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
• Raise a grievance with us, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India

Our website is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent, and we do not track or target advertising at children. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our site may include links to, or embedded content from, platforms such as YouTube, Google Drive, Instagram or LinkedIn. These services may collect data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date, and significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
